Donald J. Brancato
Donald Joseph Brancato, 79, of Turbeville, S.C. and formerly of Bekeley Springs, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at his home.
A graveside service was held Saturday, October 13 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Va.
Born in Long Beach, Calif., he was a son of the late Joseph Amdear Brancato and Ada Hart Brancato.
He was owner and operator of DonMar RV Sales, a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of American Legion and member of Wally Byam Caravan Club.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Lynn Brancato; one son, David Carter Brancato and two grandchildren, Melia Rae Brancato and Edward Joseph Karr.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Mary Catherine Franklin Brancato; four daughters, Sharon Leonard, Branson, Mo., Elizabeth Berthe, Seattle, Wash., Catherine B. Karr and Susan B. Vizas, both of Frederick, Md.; two sons, Donald J. Brancato, Jr., Pheonix, Ariz. and Charles Andrew Brancato, Turbeville, S.C.; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Floyd Funeral Home, Olanta, S.C., handled the arrangements.
