Jackolyn J. Tomlinson

Jackolyn Jean Tomlinson, 72, of Berkeley Springs, died on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Born March 24, 1940 in Trafford, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clyde Clarence and Phyllis Merce-des Gough Louderback.

She was a member of Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church where she had served as a church Elder and had been a member of the choir.

She was a 1958 graduate of Trafford High School.

She worked as a computer operator with VITRO Corporation and as a secretary with Finci-Newman, both in Silver Spring, Md.

She was a member of the Morgan County Community Choir and volunteered with the American Red Cross. She was an avid reader, liked gardening and in recent years had been a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Robert Ament Tomlinson at home; two sons, Stephen Robert Tomlinson, Mt. Airy, Md. and Laurence Robert Tomlinson, Great Cacapon; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Azat, New Windsor, Md.; one brother, Art Louderback, Harrison City, Pa.; 11 grandchildren, Alex Tomlinson and Kelly Tomlinson, both of Mt. Airy, Jason Azat, Ben-jamin Azat, Nicholas Azat and Kyle Azat, all of New Wind-sor, Eric Tomlinson, Bradley Tomlinson, Samantha Tomlinson, Victoria Tomlinson and Daniel Tomlinson, all of Great Cacapon and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine McBride.

Funeral services was conducted Monday, October 8 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs with Rev. Dr. Robert S. Osborne officiating. Interment was at Union Chapel Cemetery.
