Cheer clinic

The Berkeley Springs High School cheer team will hold a “Come Cheer and Dance with Us!” at the October 26 home football game against Northern Garrett.

Preparation for this debut of the area’s young cheer athletes will be at a clinic on Wednesday, October 24, from 6:15-8:15 p.m. in the high school gym.

The clinic is open to area youth from ages five-14 and will involve learning cheer technique and a dance to be performed at the Friday night high school ballgame during pre-game. Participants will also be involved in learning sideline skills from the high school coaching staff and team members. Cost of the clinic will include entrance to the game. Passes and details of the Friday night performance will be given to those participating.
