Earl F. Householder, Jr.
Earl Franklin “Skip” Householder, Jr., 65, of Hedgesville, died on Monday, October 1, 2012 at his home.
Born May 25, 1947 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Earl Franklin, Sr. and Bernice Roberta McDaniel Householder.
He was a member of Tomahawk Christian Church.
He was a 1965 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
He retired as a kiln operator from Corning, Inc. in Martinsburg.
He like ATV’s, watching television and attended tractor pulls.
Surviving are two sisters, Vicki Diane Spiker, Hedgesville and Beth Ann Duvall, Berkeley Springs; one nephew and one niece.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, October 4 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
Services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Pastor Donald Dick will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Tri-State Honor Guard. Private interment will be at Snyder’s Bible Church Cemetery.
