Warm Springs LJV Wolves

The Little Junior Varsity Wolves opened the season up at home with an overtime win, 6-0. The Wolves' offense moved the ball up and down the field but could not score with untimely penalties. An excellent defensive effort kept the Titans from moving the ball until the offense finally scored in overtime.

The offensive troubles continued with the Wolves' first road game against the Colts. The Colts turned the opening drive into an early advantage with a touchdown but failed on the extra point. The Wolves defense tightened their chin snaps and held the Colts scoreless the rest of the game. The offense could never finish a drive and the Colts won 6-0 dropping the Wolves record to 1-1.

Rebecca Trump has been playing midfield since she returned from injury and is doing a great job. It was very unselfish of her to make that sacrifice, but I think it is paying off. And, I can't talk about defense without mentioning Brittany Fox. She is an outstanding defender and played a wonderful game today."
