Hot-shooting Indians scorch Hancock, 65-27



Points have been tough to come by at times this season for the Berkeley Springs Girls Basketball Team, but that wasn't the case on Monday, January 7, as the Lady Indians made 16 of 26 first-half shots on their way to a lopsided 65-27 win over visiting Hancock.

Indians crush Paw Paw, 57-17



After falling behind 16-7 in the opening quarter, the Lady Indians of Berkeley Springs held their own against Class AAA rival Hedgesville. However, the early deficit was more than Berkeley Springs could overcome as they fell to the Eagles, 53-44, on Thursday, January 3, in Hedgesville.

Indian grapplers sixth in 14-team Point Pleasant Tournament



Both Jake Stotler and Cody Reed won individual titles at the Jason Eades Pool Tournament in Point Pleasant on Saturday, December 22, leading Berkeley Springs High School to a sixth place finish in the 14-team tournament.

Lady Pirates third in holiday classic



Paw Paw High School Girls Basketball Team defeated Mountain View, Pa. 48-19 in the consolation game of the Nelson Auto Holiday Classic at Calvary Christian Academy in Cumberland, Md. on Friday, December 28.

Indians still searching for elusive first win



Winning is not a sometime thing, it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all of the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.

The Berkeley Springs High School Boys Basketball Team lost both games in the Grafton Holiday Tournament at Grafton High School on Thursday, December 20 and Friday, December 21 to fall to 0-4 on the season.

Berkeley Springs girls win Grafton Holiday Tournament



Berkeley Springs came back from Taylor County on Friday, December 21, with the first place trophy from the Clair Bee Invitational, after defeating Grafton 56-50, in overtime, to win the championship.

Lady Indians make it three-in-a-row



Four Lady Indians scored in double figures, as the Berkeley Springs High School Girls Basketball Team won its third straight game of the year with a 57-42 victory over Keyser High School in Keyser on Tuesday, December 18.
