Warm Springs Middle School’s focus is reading, especially for boys, and math for all students, Principal Gene Brock said.

Around 70 people attended the March 27 Morgan County Literacy Summit that was held at Cacapon State Park to raise awareness about county reading issues and literacy concerns.

Local voters will go to the polls on Saturday, May 11 to decide whether to renew the County Schools special levy for another five years.

The $23.9 million budget for Morgan County Schools is still in the works with some cuts already proposed and more being considered.
