A number of recent burglaries are being investigated by West Virginia State Police, the Morgan County Sheriff's Department and Berkeley Springs Police.
Two homes and one car were broken into with items stolen on Henry O. Michael Road over the holidays.
Kevin Stotler, 39, of Paw Paw was sentenced to six months & a day in jail and ordered to pay $661 fine & court costs for fleeing in a vehicle from police. All but 10 days of the jail time was suspended and he was placed on a year's probation.
Michael Malone, 39, of Highland Way, Berkeley Springs, was sentenced to a year in jail and ordered to pay $686 fine & court costs for domestic battery.
Jason Michael Cannon, 30, of Greenspring was sentenced to a year in jail and ordered to pay $521 in fines & court costs for fleeing from an officer and reckless driving. His sentence runs concurrent with a Hampshire County sentence and then he will be placed on a year's probation.
