Commission takes steps to aid drug & alcohol prevention

Four months ago, Bath Town Police Chief James Minton talked to local State Farm Insurance Agent Luke Christie to see if State Farm would support his K-9 police dog project. Christie thought it was a good idea, both from a public safety and community involvement standpoint.

Bath water project over, for now



Contractor Cowgirl Up, Inc. finished up the water line replacement project the week of July 23. The 15 old water lines that had faulty valves have been cut and capped off.

Bath Council changes meeting days, hears Travel Berkeley Springs report



Town of Bath Council meetings will now be held the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Council voted unanimously to change the meeting day at the July 16 meeting.

Bath Council hears trash truck woes

Mayor Susan Webster welcomed newly elected Councilman Scott Merki to the Bath Town Council at the first meeting of the new fiscal year on Monday, July 2.

Webster assigned Merki to chair the Cemetery Committee and passed out committee assignments to council members.
