A drive down U.S. 522 on Monday revealed gas prices that ranged from $3.659 to $3.719 per gallon. Watching prices over the last two weeks, the highest price was $3.739 and the lowest was $3.499.

Bath Council moves forward with water rate increase and second pipe project



The Town of Bath Council passed the first reading of an ordinance that will set a flat rate of $8.77 for each 1,000 gallons of water used beyond the first 6,000 gallons per billing cycle.

Land Use Committee holds its first meeting

Thirteen members of the Morgan County Land Use Advisory Committee attended the group's first meeting Thursday, March 6 at the Cacapon State Park lodge. Two guest speakers and six members of the public were also in attendance.

The committee was formed to investigate land use issues and report findings and recommendations back to the Morgan County Commission and Morgan County Planning Commission.

Bath Town Council appoints new recorder and adds councilman

The Town of Bath Council made several parliamentary moves in a special Friday morning, February 8 meeting to fill two vacant council positions.

Since the departure of former Councilman Kenny Easton and Town Recorder Garnet Marsh, the position of recorder had not been filled. Both Easton and Marsh left council because they moved out of town.
