June 9

Arrest of Heather R. Shaw, 26, possession on CDS.

Report of suspicious vehicle, Valley Road, all secure.

Burglar, Pop’s Lane, open investigation.

June 10

Arrest of Nick J. Kidwell, 20, burglary and arson.

Shoplifting complaint, Sheetz.

EMS assisted, North Washington Street.

Search warrant served for Facebook records.

June 11

Suspicious person, Fairview Drive, male subject with no shoes or shirt walking along roadway, transported safely.

Report of two missing children. Located secure.

Suspicious vehicle, Berkmore Place, checked, secure.

June 12

Arrest of Joseph Eugene Francis, 28, fugitive warrant.

Single vehicle crash, car vs. deer, no injuries.

Arrest of Matthew A. Mason, probation revocation.

June 13

EMS assisted North Washington Street.

Arrest of Carol L. Kerns, 44, family court warrant.

Citation for underage alcohol sales at Bowlerama.

Citation for underage alcohol sales at Mountaineer Sports Bar.

Domestic dispute, Concord Avenue, verbal.

Alarm, Householder Road, secure.

Alarm, Rachel Lane, secure.

June 14

Sexual assault investigation, Wisteria Lane.

Assisted Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office with followup in Morgan County.

June 15

Investigation of vehicle leaving scene of property damage accident at Cacapon State Park.

Report of theft of copper and air conditioning units, Mountain Run Road.

Firework complaint, Sugar Hollow Road.

Report of female subject found to be under the influence of narcotics at Sheetz store. Cited and transported to hospital.

Arrest of Richard E. Pentoney, 52, D.U.I.

For the week of June 9-15, also issued 20 traffic citations, 13 traffic warnings, served 27 civil papers and responded to 39 calls not requiring a report.
