New Latter-day Saint Missionary

After serving the first four months of her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Hancock Ward, Sister Ana Taufa was transferred to another area.

Sister Kait Boman has joined Sister Bree Jones in serving the Hancock Ward, which encompasses Berkeley Springs, Hancock and Southern Fulton County, Pa.

Boman, from Ogden, Utah, spent two weeks at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah before coming to her first assignment. She has four brothers, two of which are married, with two nieces and two nephews.

Boman completed two years of general studies at Utah State University. She worked as a teacher at a Logan area daycare and was a certified nursing assistance for four months. While at home, she liked playing sports, listening to folk music and engaging in American Sign Language.

Upon completion of her 18- month mission. Boman plans to continue her education at Utah State University in either Speech Pathology or Deaf Education.
